London Taxi Company stand proud as the world’s only manufacturer of the iconic London taxi. Aside from being well known in the UK, the original black cab is fast becoming a global icon and we were asked to help promote their latest model, the TX4, to demonstrate its worldwide appeal.

The process started with importing a huge amount of engineering CAD data that required extensive cleaning up and optimising before the team could begin to use it in creating the high quality visuals.

Early discussions with the client and Art director had referenced dark, high keylight style images.

Using existing engineering CAD data and reference shots taken on location, our photographers and CGI artists developed a computer generated virtual model which was set against iconic London landmarks, as well as those from around the world for use on their new website. The cost effective solution conveyed the expanding global marketplace where they have a presence in more than 40 countries across.

Our 3D assets are now also being used to create configurators and form a series of new ads.
