Know as you Go (KAUG) is another Alloy Work-Out, created to allow the team to explore & develop better experiences in our daily connected lives.
One area identified is the ability to understand and manage mobile network use for pay as you go users.

Network providers currently accommodate for different usage patterns by offering different packages, such as talk plans or text plans. But it seems that we are still not getting exactly what we want, why shouldn’t we be allowed to decide exactly how to use our credit?

KAUG provides a fun and engaging way to top up. It allows users to add a credit amount, then choose exactly how they want to distribute that credit between minutes, messages and data. KAUG learns how you use your credit month upon month and makes recommendations based on this. It’ll tell you when you’ve added more minutes, messages or data than you normally use – so you’re never wasting your money.

KAUG helps the user to more clearly understand their own usage behaviour & patterns, and to provide them with simple and easy to use tools to plan, manage and pay for a better data use experience.
