About me

I've recently graduated from the School Of Jewellery, Birmingham. Having studied HND Silversmithing & Jewellery.

From the HND course I have learnt to use many techniques and tools. I understand the use of pressing, casting, rubber setting, enameling, wax carving, laser welding, general jewellery techniques and mostly ArtCAM the software from DELCAM, a program to design and produce products. At university I was mainly interested in ArtCAM and had the opportunity to have 3day experience at the actual DELCAM centre to learn more about the program.

In April 2006 I was short listed in a competition with whole School of Jewellery that was organized by RSA (Royal Society of Arts) design a medal. I have also self-educated in other techniques during my study for example bookbinding, felt making, knitting, use of resin, mould making and sewing.

I have also worked in Goldsmith Jewellery store for 3 month to gain retail experience.

I am a punctual person and willing to work hard. I also learn quickly from my experiences, and given the chance to work I will prove my abilities through out.
