A cover illustration for the latest issue of Midwives, the official magazine of the Royal College of Midwives. The brief was to create a bright and bold illustration portraying how empowered midwives feel doing their job, as well as mothers who feel empowered by the work midwives are doing for them. The background colour is red to tie in with the RCM's Year of the Midwife campaign. The illustration was also used on the inside feature spread.
