About me
After 18 months working as a news and features reporter at a regional news agency I am enjoying branching out into freelance reporting. I currently work for two business websites and enjoy working on my own blog.
I have completed my NCTJ training and have 110 wpm shorthand.
I have experience of researching and writing copy for a variety of print and digital media with a range of different audience groups. In my current role I am required to produce copy for the business, technology and energy market. I also am required to sub-edit my work which has greatly enhanced my grammar and spelling skills.
I can quickly establish rapport with interviewees as well as handling sensitive situations. Whilst enjoying being part of a team I am also comfortable with working independently. I am seeking an opportunity to progress into a new sector of the media and expand and improve my current skillset.
