Laurentino Azevedo is an extremely talented, London based Art Director, with years of experience and a catalogue of creations and successful projects to his name.

Starting in the early 80s in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil his hometown, a very young and charismatic Laurentino was already exhibiting his art works (paintings, sculpture and installations) in many successful events in some of the most prestigious galleries and art centres all over the city.

After completing his studies in Art, Design and History of Art, Laurentino left to Europe where he spent one year travelling and experiencing new styles, techniques and being influenced by the great talents that he encountered while living and working in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan and Rome.

With an actual bag of experience acquired in the previous year in Europe and with a head busting with ideas and inspirations he returns to Brazil where starts working as an event promoter, organising some of the most memorable cultural events held in the city, comprising of music, arts and multimedia.

In 1993, Laurentino, already well know and established in his field in Brazil, seizes an opportunity to study and work in the U.S.A. So, again packed with great ideas and inspirations he moves to Miami where he establishes himself as a young and promising interior designer.

In Miami things moved very fast and work never stopped coming, with clients such as Steven Volpe, Channel and many others, and after some very productive years in Florida he relocates to San Francisco for two years of study and intensive training in a great range of classical applications, including wood graining, marbling, patina and Trompe L'oeil, as well as glass and ceramic techniques.

Then came New York. In 1995 a most desirable opportunity presented itself; a once in a life time offer from Marek, one the leading fashion agencies in NYC. So once again Laurentino Azevedo packed his bags, his art works, his inspirations and his company, Area Design Ltd. and move to the Big Apple, where he worked as a Set Designer and Fashion Stylist, with clients such as Bloomingdale's, Macy, Victoria's Secrets and publications like Harper's Bazaar, W, Vogue and V to mention a few.

In the following years, due to his artistic background as well as his experience, personal interest and contacts in the media and cinema world Laurentino becomes a Production Designer and in that role works in advertising, music, videos and cinema, putting his talent to work behind the scene of many top hits of the nineties.

The new millennium begins with great changes, and with an offer from the Servimacha, a prestigious fashion agency in Barcelona, Laurentino returns to Europe where he starts working between Barcelona, Paris and Milan.

Travelling around Europe he falls in love with London, with its many talented and creative people and the great opportunities that city has to offer. He is contacted by a local agency and works with a string of high profiles clients such as Versace, Burberry's, Valentino, Cavalli, Alexander McQueen and many more.

After many years working in London and with a large portfolio of clients, and in order to better serve these clients Laurentino creates Laurentino Azevedo Ltd, his own company specialised in branding consulting. With a team of twelve media, marketing and advertising professional working under Laurentino's direction and supervision, they were responsible for some hugely important project.

Since 2009 Laurentino Azevedo Ltd. have been working with Tresor Paris Jewellers, developing their brand and image and in 2012 their advertising campaign was awarded The Best Campaign of The Year Award by I.G.L. which adds to this professional book of successful stories.
