Bacardi came to us with a challenge to showcase the “sound of rum”, using the sounds of making iconic rum cocktails to soundtrack a vibrant music video. I worked as the EP (as exec producer across all Bacardi brands), acting as escalation point and delivery support for the campaign.
Working with audio studio Massive Music, and exec produced by renowned Swizz Beats we created a track that incorporated slicing, ice crushing and drink mixing. Featuring five bartenders from around the world, each was given their own cocktail to produce in the video and in their own short idents which were used on social.
A hero 60” was produced for all markets, and a dark market 30” for France was produced separately. The content was so well received it was licensed for TV usage in the UK, US and select other European countries early 2020.
