Having won the ING DIRECT account in December 2014, today sees the launch of VCCP Sydney’s first national campaign for the brand.

Their new campaign for Australia’s favourite bank features Hollywood actress, Isla Fisher. The multi-million dollar campaign – which kicks off with a 60 second launch film across cinema, TV and digital – highlights the benefits of banking with ING DIRECT.

We join Isla Fisher through her journey in getting to know the bank, becoming a customer and a fan and, finally, sharing customers’ good news stories.

Enjoy the ride as she takes on her most challenging role yet – Isla Fisher, True Brand Ambassador. And she’s definitely not just doing it for the money.

VCCP Sydney’s Founding Creative Director, Dean Hunt, says:

“Working with Isla on her role as a True Brand Ambassador for ING Direct was quite a ride. We were after something reflecting the reality of the relationship between Isla, the bank and the project as a whole – something more honest and entertaining.

Many of the scripts were based on actual conversations and written on the day, alongside Borat co-writer, Ant Hines. Many of the scripts feature actors playing real people from the project or cameos.

In Monologue we are given access to the thoughts in Isla’s head around the believability of the message. With this ‘ads imitating life’ approach we needed full commitment from everyone involved: both clients and production partners, so a big thank you to all involved.”
