About me

My objective is to gain experience media/television industry where my creative initiative, ideas and a genuine enthusiasm would allow me to progress. I would like an opportunity where I can show and develop my skills of being, creative, organised, determined and being able to work under pressure, multitasking and meeting deadlines. I would very much like to work my way up in the Media/television industry I have an interest to work on and behind camera. I enjoy pre/post production work and feel I can apply skills that I gained from recent placement. I had great experience at university and would like another opportunity to do it again. To achieve this I am willing to work my way up starting from the bottom. I am eager to learn more and a quick learner, especially in a felid I am passionate about.

Sector Experience

I am currently working as TV Producer at BritAsia TV -Sky channel 833. BritAsia is an Asian music channel broadcasted across England and Europe. My role at BritAsia involves from researching to producing my own shows and filming live shoots also editing using Final Cut Pro., At BritAsia I am currently working on a number of shows such as:, Runway - it’s is a show about fashion and make-up, interviews with top stylist and make-up artists from around the country., In-Demand- a user request show, which allows the audience personal choice of songs and music videos and gives the interaction using social media platform such as Facebook & Twitter., FilmFix - Show about Hollywood & Bollywood movies. Giving you the Top 10 movies of the week from the latest movies releases, premiers and movies reviews., Whilst producing my own shows at BritAsia I have also assisted in live shoots and camera work in the studio & on location. My role also includes carrying out research on programmes, arranging interviews with celebrities and making venue bookings for filming. I manage all my projects from pre to post production., Working at BritAsia has allowed me to show my creative ideas, to work individually and also as a team. My role here is more responsible- everyday targets are set with tight deadlines. BritAsia has given me experience in the Media industry of working under pressure and at fast pace, teaching me to be an organised, responsible individual.
