About me

It is difficult to encapsulate in one title the skills of a modern multimedia journalist but for the past 6 years I have been a news writer, video editor, digital producer and newspaper designer, and I have worked in every media platform, from radio, to video, online and print.

I have often had to plan large projects, coordinate with large numbers of people, and work unsocial hours, but in every role I have had I am proud of winning the trust and confidence of my colleagues and being an asset to the team.

With experience from Melbourne to London, three of my most significant achievements have been: successfully integrating social media into one of the most visited news websites, and the first webTV, in Portugal; redesigning and re-launching an 85-year-old magazine into the 21st century; and surviving the press pack in marathon Portuguese presidential and parliamentary elections.
