About me

I am a professional Traditional Chinese translator. I have been working as a software localiser at Sophos since April 2012 and constantly translate technical documents and different articles in different genres.

With good knowledge of IT, technical and scientific terminology and great awareness of cultural differences, I provide translations/interpretations/subtitles in good quality.

I have background in IT, telecommunication and computer science and advanced IT skills.

I am currently looking for a new opportunity in the UK to use my skills and develop my career in the long term.

Sector Experience

I have nearly 4 years experience in IT industry. I was a software engineer in a telecommunication company in Taiwan for 3 years (2006-2009) and I worked as a Chinese translator/software localiser for Sophos anti-virus company from April 2012 until now., I also have experience in customer service. I was a cafe assistant in Taipei, Taiwan from January 2006 to June 2006. I have gained basic knowledge in making coffee and light meals, delivering good customer service.
