About me

I am currently working as a Systems Manager for a large repro company as part of a large group that has many repro and print sites world wide. I am managing the system for a large Production department of over 100 operators. The system is an Irix system which manages 8TB of data that is used by operators of Macintosh and PC systems. I have to keep the system running, problem solve any issues that the Production department in relation to hardware and any software issues, deal with work processess and create and update workflows and present it in documentation form. I was previously a Macintosh operator of 8 years with experience of all major software packages of which has kept me in good standing in the current role of IT. I would like to move into a more managerial position that is also hands if need be as i like to get involved. I have a good understanding of all areas of the Printing trade and has helped me progress to what i am doing now. I am very organised and take pride in what i do and am very commited to my employer. I am seeking a more challenging role that involves a lot of problem solving, dealing with people and helping them solve and understand their problems to make them more efficient at what they do.
