About me

During a career with Newbury Weekly News spanning more than 12 years, I have successfully completed full training in all aspects of the pre-press production process whilst specialising primarily in graphic design. On a daily basis, I am responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple projects, producing compelling advertising designs and illustrative graphics tailored towards the specific requirements of the client.

Due to my flair for creativity and innovation, I consistently produce artwork and visuals that exceed the expectations of my clients. I have even been instrumental in winning and retaining clients who will only accept designs that I have produced. For example, I was personally requested to design the cover of the "Stearn" catalogue, despite the company already having its own in-house graphic design team.

Throughout my career, I have acquired expert knowledge of the latest graphic design software applications, including the Adobe Creative Suite. I am currently in the process of learning Dreamweaver from home in order to broaden my skills even further. A keen artist in my spare time, I also appreciate more traditional mediums such as acrylics, oils, watercolours and pastels.

I am now looking for a challenging new position and am confident that I could become a valuable asset to your company. My key qualities include my exceptional eye for detail and my ability to meet the most challenging deadlines without ever compromising on quality or accuracy.
