Few brands ever achieve the iconic stature of The Ritz. The name itself is synonymous with style.
It’s a name that graces the pages of literature, inspires songs and has become a byword for opulence and exclusivity. We accepted the brief to re-launch and future-proof this exclusive members club, casino, restaurant and bar after a multi-million pound refit.

It’s never easy blending juxtaposing qualities in an identity. Yet that’s what we succeeded in doing in our repositioning of the Ritz Club. We combined its traditional elegance with a sense of modernity that chimed with the club’s international and multi-lingual clientele. Importantly, we enshrined this design approach in a comprehensive set of guidelines that became the starting point for expressing the new brand personality across a wide range of media.

We brought the new strategy and identity alive in everything from digital and print design to advertising and photography – including the award winning Ritz Magazine. Indeed, the greatest testament to the success of the re-launched identity is the fact that we’re have been the club’s brand guardian and design partner for over a decade now. The Ritz Club has been positioned where it belongs, at the pinnacle of luxury – British, elegant, sophisticated and understated – ensuring the club remains one of the leading hospitality establishments in the world.
