About me

The creative energy in the fashion business is the main thing that I enjoy. Having completed my degree in Fashion and employed within the industry for several years, I am well used to working with creative people with different temperaments. The day to day tasks involves everything from sourcing materials and prints, meeting with clients and customers to pitch the team's ideas at each and every stage in the creative process. Thus, the end process is to bring all this to successful, commercial conclusions. I am ready for a new challenge within a new creative company where I am able to expand on my skills and knowledge further.

Skills

Undertaking research on projects across all branding areas is vital stage in the development of our design projects; a strong foundation. I have to work on different brands marketing to different consumers. My role includes initial research both historical and current trends that come into play and can be used to develop specific target market. It also involves numerous competitive shop and cost reports and attending trade fairs/shows. Once all this has been done, I would then develop initial trend story/mood boards with the intention that it meets the requirements for that particular brand. I would be working on a minimum of five brands at one time and even though the work is extremely challenging, I believe that understanding the target market and outcome is paramount to successful projects.
