About me

I am applying for the Production Assistant position as advertised on Creative Pool. My previous experience is as a Junior Video Editor at a small production company based just outside of Bedford. I was responsible for various aspects of production owing to the size and nature of the company. As you will see from my CV I have been involved in a number of different productions, including the creation of video content for Vauxhall covering their sponsorship of the home nations international football teams. My role put me in regular contact with clients ensuring projects were completed within deadlines, overseeing the approval process for each video and responding to editorial changes as requested by the client.

I have also coordinated a solution which allows events to be broadcast live over the internet to a full broadcast standard whilst working within a strict budget. This was used to full effect when streaming the 2012 British Supercross Championships from various UK arenas. I liaised with arena management to organise camera positions, the configuration of a dedicated IP line, booked crew members and equipment. I was also a camera operator for this event.
