Final year project 'Elements'

I had set myself a challenging brief to create a Domestic Ecosystem for self-sufficiency. The project attracted the interest of the London Science Museum who attended our final degree show.

Due to the success of my final year project and my role for the final degree show I was invited to work with RedLoop a new design consultancy based in Colindale. With RedLoop I worked on a number of briefs with live clients. I was given the rare responsibility to become Sole Designer on a project for a large business client. While working at RedLoop I learnt how to run a project from the research stage to the presentation for the client.

Through sheer persistence I managed to work on the 'More4' Rebrand project. I had the opportunity to work with the well-known design consultancy Jason Bruges and experienced first-hand the time and labor intensive work it takes to get a design idea to work. The project involved the rebranding of one of channel4's sub-channels More4. I was part of a small team that was assigned to build 500 colour flip boxes that were to be used in the 6 different adverts, aired from the 28th Feb 2012.

First hand experience at being an Art Technician with skills and knowledge to be a solid, efficient member of the team. I have helped numerous students with their work giving encouragement along the way.

I am very clear, concise and persistent in all that I do, methodically make notes of all tasks to be achieved and care about quality. All these valuable skills were used when helping make an Art exhibition for Skinners Academy.
