About me

I have successfully helped to manage an architectural interior design company for the past twelve years and in that time I have designed and project managed for all types of properties all over the UK and Europe. I have also been involved in recruiting and training new starters into the business. I have proven ability within interior design, specifically as well as the understanding of what it takes to fill a role as well as succeed in it. I have also worked with an array of different people and developed my communication skills to an excellent level and I am confident in my ability to deal with any individual and any situation.

I am predominately a sales person and enjoy managing my team of people, I also have an extremely keen eye for detail and I love to be creative. Combine these factors together and i believe that sales can definitely be a creative role in the way you close or structure a deal. I pride myself on hitting targets, whether they be set by the managing director or are just personal targets. These targets can be either monetary or simply deadlines, either way i aim to achieve these goals through self motivation and enthusiasm. I would also like to mention that i am not a 9 to 5 kind of person and believe strongly in continuing to work way past my set hours in order to achieve the desired outcome, i currently work six days a week from 8am to 8pm and have learnt you get out what you put in.

The reason i wish to move company is because i have been working for the same business since the age of 20 and I am more than ready to transfer my skills elsewhere and take on a new challenge. I have reviewed my strengths which are my sales and people skills as well as a hard working and passionate nature. Combined with my detailed knowledge of architectural interior design i feel this is the ideal challenge for me and i strongly believe i could be a valued member of your team.

Ideally i would like to work for a company where face to face sales were the predominate way of doing business and be based in an environment which was forward thinking and innovative.

Outside of work I am a very capable golfer with a handicap of 6, i also travel quite extensively and chose to explore places in an unconventional way. I have just returned from a years travelling in south east Asia and Australia and found the whole experience thoroughly rewarding.
