Good morning,

I recently came across your graphic design position through CreativePool network and I am writing to apply, as I believe that I am well suited for this role.

I am a very meticulous designer, always injecting passion into my work. I have a thirst for knowledge and new experiences. Although I have a strong interest in typography and editorial design, I am a versatile designer and I love taking on board different kinds of projects, from branding to web design.

My graphic design journey started thanks to an engaging and exciting experience at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome. During that time I have undertaken a graphic design course lasting three years, during which I have learnt different aspects of design. These included branding, typography, photography, and contemporary history of art, semiotic, advertising, editorial design and video making. In the course of these years I have developed considerable skills in the use of almost all of Adobe Creative Suite CS5 programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and Quark Xpress 8. Apart from the usual high standard of proficiency in using Adobe programs, I also love producing videos, as I am self-taught in Final Cut X and Apple Motion.

I have already had different kinds of experiences with the industry world, from internships to freelance works to a full-time job as a graphic designer for a pharmaceutical company.
