My design for 2021's Fedrigoni 365 book.
Each day has a different design, and as there are more designers than days, the order and designs you get are randomised. I was asked to design a 'sixteen' on the with the inspiration word 'line', so today is the first day that readers may be looking at my design.
I loved playing around with the optical effects layering the same simple letter shape achieves. I feel that the design I created could easily be a place for a glass of wine in Soho and can imagine the design in neon lights.
You can see the printed version here and I took some time to animate the letters too - this is definitely a design that lends itself to it.
