About me
As a recent Advertising graduate from the University of Chester, I believe that I am the ideal individual to be considered for an Junior Account Executive/Manager position for several reasons.
Throughout my University career it has been important to me to not only build my knowledge and understanding of the discipline, but also to open myself to opportunities that allow me to engage with the industry as often as possible.
The way in which the Advertising Programme is run at the University of Chester means that I have been able to work on several lives briefs and cover all elements of the campaign process, including: client meetings, media planning, design, execution and presentation. As well as providing me with a solid understanding of how the industry works. This emphasis on live briefs has also meant that the work I have produced has had to be of industry standard, and therefore I have a solid understanding of industry software. Although I have been exposed to both sides of the creative process, and whilst I thoroughly enjoy coming up with innovative ideas that challenge my own creativity, my desire is to work on the strategic 'suit' side of the process, as I feel that my strengths lie in client liaison.
Being a firm believer that client is king I treat every client I work with as if they are my first thought in the morning and my last thought at night. This approach has meant that my professional presentation skills as well as my efficiency in dealing with specific clients' needs have been credited by numerous people throughout my university career. This includes external clients, who I have been able to build and maintain a fantastic rapport with throughout, and following the projects I have worked on.
Academically I would say that I have had an extremely successful and worthwhile University career, and I believe something that further sets me apart from other soon to be graduates is my persistence and drive to constantly push my own boundaries and expose myself to the possibilities of my own capabilities.
This persistence so inherent in my nature is also driven by a fascination for the way in which the advertising world works, and it is this that has led me to establish my own connections within the industry. This desire to constantly seek answers and insight has led me to have meetings with the Chairman and Senior Research at Quadrangle, who were the agency behind Skoda's change in marketing and brand strategy from the early 1990s, and who ultimately paved the way for the Brand's reinvention in later years.
Having also been involved in the execution of live briefs I have been able to build up an impressive and professional portfolio, which whilst demonstrating my ability to produce campaigns ranging from print based to those requiring multi-media skills, also provide evidence of my ability to think of innovative and eye catching campaigns.
I thank you in advance for your consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerest regards,
Jordan Stachini
