I have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphics Technology at Kingston University and have become highly proficient in Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Maya. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level.

Skills

I have worked with numeric and alphabetic paper filing systems required as back up for our scheme, and also the electronic databases. I will be able to quickly pick up any new system required., I have very good keyboard skills and able to work well above 35 wpm., I have excellent IT skills and use Excel and Word on a daily basis and I have assisted Economic Development staff with the production of maps, graphs, charts and the production of marketing graphics. I create flash interactive websites using a software called Adobe Flash and design 3D Animation using Maya. If I want manipulate photos I use Photoshop., Every time I finish a project I have to write a report informing the lecturers on what I did and how I created the model/animations. For the graphs and charts I would use Excel then copy that in to word, for the report I use Word because it’s more structural.

Sector Experience

I have worked in an office environment for 6 months. Some of the duties were answering telephone enquiries, giving advice on eligibility to clients, referring people to other providers if appropriate, preparing training materials for workshops, maintaining client information on the database, filing, photocopying and dealing with clients face to face. During my third year i was one the University's student representatives and had to deal with student enquiries and concerns. I had a special room which had all the office essentials such as fax, photo copier, telephone etc.

Awards

My qualifications include;-, Computer Graphics Technology BSc (2:1 Hons), ICT at AVCE (Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education) B/B, 8 GCSEs including Maths & English, I specifically chose this degree course because the skills and knowledge base covered are relevant and applicable to a wide spectrum of career paths and job requirements., I have completed a Harrow Council communications programme facilitated by Stanmore College on Communications Skills that include letter writing, minutes and telephone techniques. In addition I have been working in Harrow Council in an administrative capacity on an employment project also I have been working at or above the standard required by an NVQ2 in administration.
