Dear Sir/Madam

I am a recent design graduate and I am looking for a junior/assistant graphic designer opportunity available within your company or an alternative opportunity that you think that my creative skills would be suited to.

I have a fresh and enthusiastic approach to design and I am interested in a position with your company because I am looking for my first serious design role where I am confident that my knowledge and abilities would be of value to your company.

I have a wide creative skills base that I gained during my course. My main skills rely on the usage of Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Quark. I have experience in layout, presentation, brochure, logo, advertising and packaging design. I also have experience in many other programs and design skills, as my CV will outline.

My course relied heavily upon team-orientated activities. One project involved a link up with America, where we were paired up with a college to produce a group project. This involved co-operating, decision-making, demonstrating ideas and problem solving through written communication.

I am currently involved in freelance work and I have recently produced some brochure and logo work. Working on a freelance basis has enabled me to broaden my skills base and understanding of how the industry works.
