Amanita Films is a young film company born in 2010 created by Iván Patiño.
It is an independent company with two different lines in the production: Experimental (Documentaries, independent films) and conventional (Commercial cinema, promotional videos...)

It’s also a personal project, in which I will be always present as a graphic designer, photographer and supporter.

The name of the company is a tribute to our grandfather. He dedicated his life not only to the study of mushrooms, but also he used to writepoetry and paint. For that reason, I decided to use the Amanita mushroom, a well known, bright red and white variety. As a result we have a memorable brand that is strong, young and identifiable with the aim of the company: film, as the mushroom also seconds as a film reel.
