I am a very positive thinking, highly motivated person. I am hard-working and reliable and like to achieve high standards in tasks that I am set. I would consider myself to be a leader, but in a constructive rather than aggressive manner and I am encouraging and easily approachable. I work well with people of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy a challenge and love high-adrenaline activities. I have a high interest in the media industry and enjoy creating content for media. I believe that I am a very dependable person and completely trustworthy.
Skills
I have many computer skills and I am competent in various programmes such as; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. I can confidently edit footage and images on programmes such as iMovie HD and Photoshop. I also have had use of high quality cameras such as Jvc gy-hm 700 and Sony DSR-570sp., In my own time I have achieved various awards and roles. Sector Experience
OBS (July-August 2012), Support Service Assistant - During London 2012 I worked for The Olympic Broadcasting Services as a Support Service Assistant. My roles included delivering schedules to the crew, assisting crew in all areas and accompanying them to their camera locations., GLASSWORKS POST PRODUCTION (Summer 2008), Runner - This job involved looking after clients, running hard copies of tapes to various companies around London and learning basic post production skills., ANT & DEC’S PUSH THE BUTTON (2010), Stand In Contestant - This involved helping out with the game show research. During the research stage I stood in as a competitor whilst planning the show. I also helped with staging ideas., RAVENSBOURNE (2010-2012), Student Union - Head of Societies & Activities - My role within the Student Union is Head of Societies & Activities. I work closely with people in charge of each society and club. My aim is to make sure each society gets support from the Student Union team to help it run successfully. This will range from organising meetings to social events., Student Ambassador - I help with various jobs such as tour guiding round the college on open days and being a spokesperson for the college. I also help chaperone at big events., Production Assistant - I recently travelled to Paris with a film crew to shoot a music video. As a Production Assistant I helped with lighting, shot framing & other jobs that the director needed doing whilst filming. The music video has been broadcast on various music channels such as Lava and Kerrang., Event Manager - On February 21st I launched the first RSU:Unsigned event. This was a live band night at London Proud2, The O2. I organised and managed the entire event myself including auditions, equipment, budgeting, venue, promotion and marketing. The event was a great success and I have been asked by the venue to continue with RSU:Unsigned. Many artist managements have contacted me on collaborating with them for future events., SEVENOAKS COUNCIL (May 2011), Poll Clerk & Counting Assistant - This job involved registering voters and the polling station and keeping and organised account of all the votes in the area I was working in. I also helped with the count of the votes the next day. Both roles involved a high level of organisation.
