About me

A lifelong lover of the written word, I have spent the last year writing and publishing articles on a freelance basis. This follows a three-year stint at Basque broadcasting network EITB where I worked as a staff journalist on their English-language website.

Born in London but now based in the Basque Country of Spain, I can offer a unique perspective on issues that effect this region and country as well as on events unfolding in Britain as seen through the local press.

My main areas of interest are cinema (are covered this year's San Sebastian Film Festival for Iberosphere.com), travel and political issues, particularly in relation to education.
