About me

I am a graduate print designer from De Monfort University.

I am a competent print designer I understand and can source a wide range of fabrics. I do repeats successfully and I am able to do placement prints. Alongside my print design l have a good knowledge in CAD design and can use Photoshop, Illustrator and Tex Design.

I have knowledge to do a range of printing, with acids, discharge and devore depending on the fabric. I enjoy dye processes such as tie-dye the most as it gives me a chance to see what colours would go best on different fabrics. Cross dye is another process I believe is important to me as great effects are created. I am fully aware of current trends and understand how to research forth coming trends.

I have been an employee for New Look since September 2008 where I gained knowledge of what customers require from the garments they wear. I started off a sales assistant then moved up to cashier/admin assistant, I like to work in a team but I am just as confident and motivated on my own.
