About me

To Whom It May Concern,

I was first introduced to the world of media at University, and since then I have taken every opportunity to obtain the necessary skills for a future career in this environment. Training for my NCTJ Journalism (fast-track diploma) as well as continuing to write and build up a portfolio.
I wish to highlight my:

• Ability to juggle with a variety of demanding tasks at one time. Through-out my time at University I took wrote for, helped research and worked with the University paper. While studying full time and working part time in an admin role.

• Proven ability to analyse and research; skills developed from my dissertation and increased through my work experience in PR and magazine work; acquiring me with creative and ingenuity.

• Ability to strive as part of a team, but confident to work alone, if necessary. From years of independent study I am capable to navigate challenges alone. As a summer school teacher I'm happy working in a team, helping and supporting my team members and succeeding as a whole.

• Awareness of business skills and techniques developed during my time working within Admin, leaving me comfortable working with computer programmes, online data, working with customers and being able to communicate to solve problems and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail, ability to learn and to continue under pressure reflected and enhanced when I took my NCJT while working. An intense 14 week course, where I learnt a variety of skills including shorthand, reporting, editing, sub-editing, and law.

I look forward to hearing from you and discussing my application at interview.

Yours sincerely,
Miss Victoria Adeniji
