About me
I have worked professionally in photoshop going right back to 1994 when it was then V.3.0. and have worked with each release since. I would consider myself to be an accomplished and capable retouching and post production worker - having produced work for many clients such as; Getty, Nick Daly, Zac Macaulay, Chris Cramer, and others, on a freelance basis. Also full time for companies such as 'The Art Group' & 'Digital Film Mastering' - outlined in my resume.
I consider myself to have the ‘Technique and broadness of skills' and ‘Excellent colour management skills' - specifically for print, having overseen many projects in my 4 years at ‘The Art Group' as a ‘Reprographics project manager'
Coming from a photographic background, I endeavor to produce highly creative work with an emphasis on the possible technical pitfalls surrounding print production in ‘Raw to Print' workflow's. Thorough and methodical in my work practice and ethic, I enjoy problem solving and have a natural curiosity in ‘How things work, how things are done and ways of developing work strategies to achieve the best possible results.
More recently I have been involved in my own projects creating a ‘Reflections' series of photographic exhibitions on London, New York & Paris as ‘Artist in Residence at The Royal Automobile Club, Pall, Mall, London; holding the record for the highest selling exhibition at the club until 2009, when it was broken by Storm Thorgerson, of ‘Pink Floyd'album cover renown.
I currently have work on Display at the Royal Automobile Club, The Commonwealth Institute and the Gherkin in London. This, together with my exhibition work, I feel, shows a good deal of understanding of the commercial aspects, restraints, marketing, development and execution of business strategies and the ability to follow up on projects and ideas in a commercial environment.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you find my experience and skills of interest. Photography and Post Production examples can be sent out as web pages to any interested parties.
