ABOUT

Bay Hive Honey is a personal branding project created for my own honey, harvested from hives I keep in Angle Bay, Pembrokeshire. The brand needed to feel as pure and unprocessed as the product itself, honest, small-batch, and rooted in a specific stretch of coastline rather than a generic countryside aesthetic.
The mark centres on a bee formed from soft, looping linework, crowned to signal quality and craftsmanship without tipping into anything overly luxury or corporate. This is honey made by hand, not mass-produced. Bold, rounded typography keeps the wordmark approachable and grounded, while a warm, golden colour palette echoes the honey itself and the wide skies over Angle Bay.
The result is a brand that feels personal and place-specific — as much about the location and process as it is about the product.
