About me
I have an MSc degree in "Engineering design" and a degree of "Engineer of Industrial Design" (equivalent of Product Design with engineering orientation). I chose to study those principals because from a young age I was drawn by machines, mechanisms and how they work. It was natural for me to follow this path and I wish to make a career in this field. I believe that in today's world, that everything is standardized, a company can only prevail by displaying products and services based on "better and smarter ideas".
I currently work as an engineer of industrial design. As there are very few ID positions in my country, I am privileged to work in the profession I have studied and admired. However, I wish to be acknowledged for my work and I am looking for a position in a company that could offer me better prospects and tougher challenges.
My morning job involves patent research, engineering development and cad design. I also work as a freelancer for another industrial design firm which is related with the local plastic molding industry. My role there involves concept design, cad design, photorealism and occasional graphics design (2D).
I believe working with the mold industry has greatly influenced my sense of workflow and has gained me a better understanding regarding manufacturability. I am also skilled at CAD, rendering and pc hardware. I have been taught CAM but I never had the chance to practice my knowledge.
