About me

I am a graduate of Royal Holloway College, University of London with a 1st class BA Honors in English Literature and Creative Writing. I am seeking employment that will make fuller and more direct use of my academic studies, and that will enable me to engage with a dynamic, creative environment. I am keen to explore the practical application of the skills I have acquired throughout my years of study and employment.

Throughout my school career I have always been dedicated to completing examined work successfully, receiving consistently high marks in a range of subjects. I have always favoured subjects which allowed me to demonstrate creativity, express my opinion, and enhance both my spoken and written communication skills. I have a keen interest in, and, I believe, a talent for critical assessment, and my degree in English and Creative Writing has enabled me to refine, and make the most of, my aptitude for analysis, discussion and expression.
I have a high level of technical and creative skill in languages, and am well used to public speaking. I am confident in my ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and have done a number of educational voice-overs. I have an eye for detail and always take a thorough, considered approach to my work. My own personal interest in art and drawing, as well as my years of experience working as an assistant in a clothes boutique, have given me an appreciation and understanding of visual design. I have some experience in editing and proof-reading and am always interested in exploring all my options and acquiring new skills.
