Mike was born, perhaps not coincidentally, the same year as the hydrogen bomb. It was also called Mike.
Whether that historical detail is germane here is debatable.
What surely is relevant, though, is that Mike has been wrapped up in the advertising business for 35-odd years now - some admittedly much more odd than others. And because by almost any rational measure that's far too long to do any one thing in any one business, he's done lots of things.
He's been a copywriter; art director, creative director; radio, tv, film and music producer and director; public relations and speech writer; voice talent; and media columnist. He's also been an unpaid but much sought-after creative consultant, a partner in a small but much sought-after creative boutique, a mentor, a lecturer, a tutor, a jester, a guitar player, a dad and, well... You get the idea.
