How do we engage children of 6-9 years with their cystic fibrosis (CF) and how can they understand the value of ongoing treatment with Kalydeco? Medical information does not interest a child, nor does it inspire them to take medication. But what if we took children on a fantastic journey through an imaginary body? Little Miss Fearless Takes Flight is great storytelling turned into an immersive and interactive experience where CF comes alive. Children retain 20% of what they are told, but 75% of what they see, hear and do alone. Based on this we created a traditional story book with companion augmented reality app (with extra supplements) and iBook with 19 animated illustrations for children to become fully immersed in the world of CF.
