About me

I have recently finished my studies at the University of Hertfordshire studying Mass Communications, with a final grade of 2:1 Honours and will be available for employment in June 2011. My degree has helped develop my creative skills, especially digitally, which is why I feel will be useful in my career as a graphic designer. I have become familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, and have produced a 16 page magazine for a professional client as part of my final project, on which I received a 2:1, as well as a website using Adobe Dreamweaver. I am also fluent and experienced in Microsoft Office which is useful for presenting my work effectively. I worked part time at Harrods during my three years of studying my degree as a sales associate which reflects my ability to work well as a team member and my ability to work under pressurised situations- I worked throughout my exams. As an experienced and senior member of the company, I am given the role of guiding and training new staff members.

During my second year of studies, I participated as a fashion and beauty writer for the university magazine FAME, I worked closely with the editor and creators to produce compelling and evoking articles based for the student population. It also gave me an idea of working towards tight deadlines, which I found exhilarating.
