About me

I am an award winning filmmaker and who recently graduated in BA (Hons) Film Studies with a high 2.1 degree. I developed several areas of interest throughout my studies including, script editing and writing, advertisement and film production.

Outside of my degree I worked on independent short and feature films within production management roles, these positions required strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise work commitments and communication skills.

I have authored several short films that have gone into production as well as feature scripts. My script and pitch for the Cornish Language short film 'Tap, Tap, Tap...' won the 'Govynn Kernwek Award' at the 2005 Cornwall Film Festival and is currently in post procution.

During my degree I authored several projects researching the role of print advertisement within the film industry and the appropriation of experimental film techniques in TV advertisements. One case study into the design style influences of film poster design company Allcity Media lead to work experience with the company. My commitment and interest in such work required me to commute long distance from Cornwall to London.

As well as acquiring administrative and customer relation expertise I am a creative person. I have received formal training for Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand, Flash and Microsoft Office as my CV details. I am a highly motivated and assiduous person with a proven passion and knowledge for work within the creative industries.
