About me

I am an experienced FCP video editor/producer/scriptwriter who has worked professionally in the media since 2000. In that time I have edited a wide range of programmes, including corporate videos, broadcast comedy shows, sports highlight packages, VNRs, TVCs, awards night interviews/opening videos, motor show reels, mobile phone reviews, etc.

I have also worked as Supervising Producer on two seasons of The Merrick and Rosso Show (at the time the highest rating show on The Comedy Channel Australia).

I have written a large number of corporate scripts, and have also written on children's sitcoms, sketch comedy programmes, and tonight shows.

I have at least two brains - I have a good understanding of the technical side of how to produce good work, and how much it can cost, and I also have a strong sense of the creative, with an ability to both edit and write scripts.

I have shot with the Sony Z1, as well as the Canon EOS SLR range, and have also worked with sound designers, voiceover talents, high end DOPs and actors. I am quite comfortable meeting with the client, taking a brief, developing creative ideas, storyboarding, planning a shoot, directing the shoot, editing the footage, commissioning motion graphics, directing a voiceover record, and presenting a final production for broadcast, either online or TV.
