With a hand selected team I ran a campaign in a bid to become the Vice President of Development for Birmingham city university student union.

I travelled around campuses and student accommodations all over Birmingham promoting myself on why I would be the best person for the job. Went around lectures at the beginning and the end briefly to talk to students, and had daily updates on various social media platforms.

Although I was not successful, the experience I gained from this process showed me what type of person I really am, which is someone who will come out of his own comfort zone to achieve a goal that no one ever believed I would even come close to. The early mornings and the late nights of hard work campaigning around the university campuses will always be with me.
