As a young African graphic designer, I am often presented with the questions on my identity: Who I am, What do I want, What do I want to achieve and What do I stand for.

Therefore, I wanted a logo that was both African and who I am right now (still figuring all of it out). Since, with the merging of cultures, we are not really African, in terms of how it is portrayed to the world and to us. The Bennardo Santos Afrikan Logo aims to reclaim my African Identity, but at the same time reveal my Afropolitanism ( like Taiye Selasi “not being citizens but Africans of the world”); who I am and who I have become and who I am becoming.
