About me

I am writing to apply for the position titled UX Design Consultant as advertised in Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment. As you will see I have completed my postgraduate degree in Information Technology with a good score.

I am keen to work as a UX Design Consultant since I believe that I have the necessary skills, with enthusiasm and passion for design. My skills gained from my studies and experience in research and work confirmed my interest and motivated me to apply for this role. You will see from my CV that through my education, employment and interests, I have developed my IT skills and other relevant skills. Through my undergraduate degree, I have been able to develop good programming skills. My advanced studies in Information Technology have enabled me to lead a team with deadlines to meet and work with time management skills. Later my postgraduate degree interested me to research on the user experience of the social networking website- Facebook. Since then I spend time on understanding of designing user interfaces, user experiences and usability of applications for a variety of platforms including the web, mobile and other social networking websites thereby gaining more knowledge on the area of Human-Computer Interaction.

In addition to the above, I have also been able to deliver good UX workflows to the client, in which my efforts were very much appreciated both from the client and the team. I have attached the link to the prototype along with the login details.

As my undergraduate degree and advanced studies were in India, I am unable to translate my qualifications into equivalent UCAS points. However, entry grades onto my postgraduate studies were 84% and the University were happy to accept me onto the programme. As I mentioned in my CV, I currently hold a Tier 1 Post Study Work Visa, Valid for 2years, which allows me to work full time.
