Sneakers are more than just a tool we use to safely traverse from one point to another but also a means for us to connect to one another and our environment. Some designs for example could elicit certain emotions or serve as a conduit to access certain memories.
This registers on a deeper level than previously thought possible by most footwear enthusiasts but when enough attention is drawn to the topic of looking at sneaker design as a form of art; that will shed significant light into the future of sneaker designs.
That light is what PLSE is focusing on to draw attention to the extraordinary and different form of art that many sneaker enthusiasts have come to appreciate.
