About me
Pitam De Sarker began his career in advertising, where he later formed his perspective. He worked with Ogilvy and later on at JWT as a VP of Creative. He not only has a keen eye for design but also a thorough grasp of the commercial and strategic aspects of a brand.
His background includes ATL, Design, Exhibitions, Retail Merchandising, BTL, and Experiential. He oversaw JWT Connect (Experiential & Design Cell) and made the SBU one of India's top revenue-producing divisions.
Over a 27-year stint at JWT and Ogilvy, Pitam served as a brand custodian for a variety of brands, including Citibank, Lux, Sunsilk, Ford, Ponds, Rin, FedEx, Hindustan Motors, Phillips, Knorr, HPCL, Ashok Leyland, Parryware, Reynolds, LIC, Shaw Wallace, and Godrej & Boyce, among others.
He chose to venture out on his own after spending over twenty seven years working for two of the biggest advertising companies in the nation. He founded LOGGERHEADS, a small store, with two young men at the start of 2013. Today, 40 people work with Loggerheads, which has grown into the healthcare sector.
He thinks that in the current environment, one-on-one interactions, which are best accomplished through experiential advertising, are one of the finest methods to reach consumers. This advertising method can fill various communication gaps when used in conjunction with digital assistance. Especially the ones who are the closest to the customer during the purchasing process - the proverbial last mile, which frequently proves to be the difference between make or break!
Happy to discuss in detail.
Cheers!
