Having been interested in the complexities of the English language for as long as I can remember, I have gained experience as an English tutor, a proofreader, a freelance writer for a magazine and most recently, as a copywriter. I have a second class bachelors degree in English from the University of Birmingham and currently work for an independent advertising, design and marketing agency that specialises in digital marketing.
Agency life has given me a profoundly interesting insight into how a mere concept, thought or idea can be fulfilled by the collective efforts of a creative team, as well as how my individual contributions have the potential to shape the way company interacts with its customers. I have written for a hugely diverse range of clients, including charities, international B2B companies, a number of renowned beverage brands and one of Britain's largest property development and investment companies.
I am capable of meeting any kind of brief, whether this is as open-ended as being asked to create an entire social media campaign, or following the strictest brand guidelines to adhere to a company's platform and tone of voice.
