Having joined Wunderman in 2013, Pip has risen through the ranks from Chief Operating Officer to CEO in recognition of the instrumental role she has played in the agency's development.
Pip is responsible for the leadership of the entire London business. She is affectionately described as the 'glue' that brings client and agency teams together.
Pip wants everyone to feel that they can bring their whole selves to work, sculpting an industry-leading culture of diversity and inclusion. From recruiting a full-time L&D Partner to lead a unique fully-scheduled training programme that encourages regular dialogue and input from staff, new initiatives in 2018 also include an LGBT+ support and education group, Mental Health Ambassadors in partnership with the charity, MIND and The W Project —an ethical recruitment programme that gives everyone access to the industry regardless of age, background, nationality or grades. Pass It On, a global program which encourages women to focus on what they want to achieve and how to build plans for success has been expanded in the UK to support even more female talent to reach senior ranks with seventy-seven percent of the agency's female staff now enrolled.
Pip sits on the IPA Council as well as Stella, the WPP progressive coaching programme for encouraging women into leadership. Wunderman has hosted numerous panel discussions including, 'succeeding as a woman in business' and 'being a working parent' as part of Pip's commitment to fulfilling the actions of the WPP CEO Action Pledge.
Pip's continued commitment to wellbeing saw Wunderman become the first London agency to build a dedicated in-house wellness studio for staff. Her leadership and vision have resulted in an all-time-low staff turnover, dropping from 22% to an amazing 13% YOY (industry average is 31%).
Pip has driven the agency to grow as an inclusive, fair and inspiring environment. In 2018, Wunderman was awarded the Creative Equals' Media and Equality Standard kite mark - and was also the highest scoring agency.
Wunderman's internal referral rate has rocketed from 8% to 30%, with job applications increasing by 40%, showing the incredibly desirable and future-facing environment Pip has created.
