Brief
RealmPlay is an AI-powered roleplay app that allows users to create and interact with AI-generated characters. Users can design unique personalities, styles, and scenarios to engage with their AI companions—ranging from friends and pets to therapists and romantic partners.

The goal of the redesign was to:

-Rebrand RealmPlay with a more meaningful and polished visual identity.
-Redesign the landing page to make it cleaner and more engaging.
-Refine the UI/UX while maintaining all existing functionality, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for users.
-Cater to the target audience—primarily Reddit users, internet enthusiasts, and individuals seeking AI companionship—through a dark-themed aesthetic and an intuitive interface.

Approach
Understanding the Users & Market

Researched user behaviour and engagement patterns in similar AI roleplay apps like Character.AI and Chub.AI.
Identified the core needs of the target audience: ease of use, customization, and immersive chat experiences.

Rebranding & Visual Direction
Designed a new logo that aligns with the app’s purpose, replacing the previous random logo.
Selected a dark-themed UI with a sleek, modern aesthetic to appeal to the user base.
Chose a typography and color scheme that enhances readability and immersion.

Landing Page Optimization
Removed clutter and improved content hierarchy for better first impressions.
Enhanced CTA placements to drive user engagement and sign-ups.

UI/UX Improvements
Streamlined navigation to make character creation and interaction more intuitive.
Ensured accessibility and responsiveness across devices.

Final Outcome
A refined brand identity with a logo that visually represents the app’s essence.

Challenges Faced

-Maintaining feature familiarity – Enhancing the UI while keeping it intuitive for existing users who were accustomed to the previous design.
