The latest issue of the Martin Journal, curated by Martin Guitars and NME Network's Guitar dot com. We made the cover image in the studio at the start of the year, building a small room set painted in a deep woodland green - taken from their brand guidelines which focuses on a beautiful and rich natural palette. On the shoot we worked alongside designer Phil Millard, working on cover tests that could be relayed back to the Martin Guitars team in the USA. The final image was treated to give a more classic look, warming the shadows and softening the overall feel.
