Emma Ruth Rundle, photographed at ArcTanGent festival for Total Guitar. The press area was in one of the barns dotted around the farm that hosts ArcTanGent every year. A real working barn complete with hay bales, hessian drops and numerous doors that could be sold as 'rustic' in reclamation yards. This is still one of my favourite portraits I've made. The tones all came together to lay an unobtrusive platform and Emma's strong, unflinching gaze does all the rest.
