I'd attended a few of the early Bespoked shows in Bristol. It exists to celebrate the incredibly talented world of the handmade bike. Those who build them. Those who paint them. Those who accessorise them. In very much the vein of 'less is more' these frame builders work directly with their clients, creating something unique.

The show is now in new hands and this year was held in the middle of the Lee Valley Velodrome. Petor, one of the new stewards of Bespoked, asked me if I'd come along and pitch up a studio to document as many of the builds as possible on show. "It'll probably be around 120 bikes". For context I'd normally allow a day for two or three bikes in my studio.

We eventually photographed over 90. The number would've been significantly lower had it not been for the amazing volunteers who tirelessly went back for fore to the show floor (two sets of steps and walk away).
