ABOUT

My semester 2 project for Design Development & Portfolio challenged me to design a 10 piece capsule collection for a chosen luxury brand of our choice. I was tasked with creating a concept (Le Jardin Majorelle) as well as garments that were appropriate for Altuzarra SS20. I chose this brand as I love sharp tailoring and contouring, as well as draped and flowing silhouettes.
The project has enhanced my ethnographic skills, as well as my CAD drawing and designing through sketching on the body. I have become proficient in my trend and competitor research, through conducting extensive luxury retailer market boards.
