ABOUT
Photographies in black and white from 2021. These are my self-portraits from Black Ocean, Black Siren series. There is also a Red one. I enormously and shamelessly enjoy baths whenever i am out of my natural habitat, the ocean that is my womb and luxurious royal bed, or a cocoon for crying out my pains. I feel like I rule the element. This is seductive, dangerous, yet melancholic, moody and gloomy image of a siren with a tar black soul, a mythological creature illuminated with the blinding light of a moon that is, by some magic accident, full as well as eclipsed. His darkness reflects the power of my demons, but his glimmering silver shades signify my ecstatic vertigo heights, as in manic depression. The scene is cinematic, like film noir, and a photo is a part of a fotosession in a bath tub in a bathroom, an ultimate symbol of intimacy and disclosure, with series of images that tell a suspense thriller story of me sensing mysterious presence of a stranger or something eerie.
